Certifications

The environmentally sustainable management system of Ceramica Globo complies with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 regulation (DNV Certificate: 2020-2007-AE-Rom-Sincert), a certificate that adds to the company’s UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification on business management.

The ISO 9000 series (issued by the International Organization for Standardization) define the International requirements of the systems applicable to any type of process or business sector that has an impact on quality. The ISO 9001 standard controls Ceramica Globo’s management, from human resources to design and production, from controls on the finished product to raw materials, according to a quality system that focuses on continual improvement and customer satisfaction.

This translates into added value for the final product.

The ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system is an internationally-recognised voluntary standard, which represents the company’s formal commitment to respect the environment by controlling various forms of pollution, reducing exhaust emissions, using rational energy sources and bringing waste and discard disposal in line with the recommended regulations. ISO 14001 certifies that Ceramica Globo has a management system capable of controlling the environmental impacts of its activities and that systematically aim at their improvement in a consistent, efficient and above all sustainable manner.
